Tikkun Olam Peer Educators Program - Part of the Protecting our Kids Series

Protect Nice Jewish Kids Series: Reclaiming the American Jewish Experience Post 10/07

This new program will train high school students to become peer educators in their own schools and learn how to combat antisemitism by educating their peers, school administrations and community leaders.

This training program consists of three modules and will cover contemporary antisemitism and identifying hate, how to respond and report antisemitic incidents, and lastly, students will dig into the roots of legislative advocacy in Jewish traditions by learning the importance of Jewish voices in the current political climate and how to take action in their own communities.

We have partnered with the Jewish Family & Children's Services Holocaust Center in San Francisco, our state legislators and Jewish lobbying groups to create this awesome training opportunity for our Bay Area teens.

Students will receive a certification as a Tikkun Olam Peer Educator from the Federation upon completion and have the tools to join the fight against antisemitism!
