There is a superhero in all of us!
WalkWithFC is Friendship Circle's annual community walk that raises funds and builds community awareness of The Bay Area Friendship Circle, a nonprofit organization providing friendship and inclusion for children, teens, and young adults with special needs.
Due to COVID, 2020 was the year of online programming where we managed to continue our programs uninterrupted through zoom. Now celebrating its 9th year, the goal of WalkWithFC is to raise a considerable portion of our operating budget for the year and build community. This year WalkWithFC has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 29th, and will have staggered start times to practice social distancing protocol with five different time slots: 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM, and 12:00 PM. A family or pod will register at one of these start times, and we will max each time slot at 30 people. Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes before your start time to check-in. Registrants will receive a goodie bag with cool swag, snacks, and a map of the walk. Come dressed up as your favorite superhero and come together as one community to enjoy a walk with your fellow community heroes and friends.
