Yom Ha'atzmaut Family Kumzitz @ Gan Israel Preschool

Kumzitz for preschool children & their families celebrating Israel @ 70

Long ago (before social media!) people in Israel would very often connect by getting together and participating in a "kumzitz."  A "kumzitz" is made up of two words “kum” (come) and “zitz” (sit). It is traditionally a gathering where people come and sit together, share food and songs.  In honor of Yom Ha’atzmaut and Israel’s 70th birthday, Gan Israel Preschool is holding a community-wide kumzitz geared to preschoolers and their families.  The kumzitz will be held in the Gan Israel Outdoor classroom.

We are grateful for the support from the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund, Sterling Bank & Trust and the Seligman Family Foundation.
