Yom Ha'atzmaut K-8 Performance

On Erev Yom Ha'atzmaut, the school invites the community to attend a K-8 student performance. At the beginning of this performance, in honor of Yom HaZikaron, our middle school students will reflect on the value of each Jewish life lost to conflict and share personal and meaningful speeches such as their experience at Mount Herzl. After one minute of silence, we will transition from Yom HaZikaron to our joyful Yom Ha'atzmaut celebration.

On the day of Yom Ha'atzmaut, the school community will gather to begin the day with the Pledge of Allegiance as well as the Hatikvah. This year the theme of our Yom Ha'atzmaut performance is the diversity of the people of Israel. This theme of our celebration was chosen to honor the Aliyot and the rich diversity and customs of the people who have now inhabit Israel. Students will explore the rich diversity through fun, hands-on activities so they can gain a better appreciation and love for the State of Israel.
