Young Jewish Fund Summer Shabbat

The Young Jewish Fund is a Bay Area Jewish Federation giving circle comprised of local Jews in their 20s and 30s. A giving circle brings a group of people with shared values together to collectively discuss and decide where to make a pooled gift. Giving circles support with their dollars, but also build awareness, volunteer, and more. Individuals multiply their impact and knowledge, have fun, and connect with their local community.

At this Shabbat, we will discuss what The Young Jewish Fund program is and how it is a pathway to cultivate caring, generous connections with others who also think deeply and act intentionally together. We will discuss:

• Young Jewish Fund's first iteration. What was the experience, which organizations receiving $, and why.
• YJF 2nd cohort and how to join us! Can’t make this Shabbat and interested to learn more? Sign up through this Interest Form to stay in the loop. 
• Your ideas, stories, and Jewish values that inform your charitable giving

The Shabbat cost is $5 per person - If cost is a barrier to entry for you, please reach out to us. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Dinner & dessert will be provided.
