Announcing the Federation’s Next Board Chair, Richard Fiedotin

San Francisco, CA – The Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties is pleased to announce that Richard Fiedotin will serve as its next Chair of the Board of Directors, assuming the role on July 1, 2016.

Richard brings significant experience as a lay leader in the Bay Area Jewish community and as a successful entrepreneur at the intersection of tech and health care. He is a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, a past chair of the annual campaign, a fellow of the Grand Leadership Institute, an alumnus of the Wexner Heritage Program, and a former member of the Federation’s Young Adult Division and the National Young Leadership Cabinet.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Richard to his new position,” said Tom Kasten, current Chair of the Federation’s Board of Directors. “He is a born leader who ably bridges the various generations and segments of our community. We are very confident in his capacity to lead and unite, as well as to inspire our work for the future.”

“The Federation fills a critical role for the Jewish people, working with our partners to achieve our shared goal of building a community that is healthy, vibrant, welcoming and secure,” said Richard. “I am honored to have been elected to serve as the chair of the Federation's Board of Directors and look forward to learning from and working with our excellent staff, dedicated lay leaders, and colleagues at other Jewish organizations, in the furtherance of our ancient tradition of tikkun olam.”
