Be'chol Lashon / InterFaithFamily FALL RETREAT
Join Be’chol Lashon & InterfaithFamily for our Fall Retreat, Pushing The Boundaries: Jewish Diversity In The 21st Century, on October 28-30. Rest, recharge and explore the diversity of Jewish identity and experience in beautiful West Marin. Join us for workshops on Saturday, or stay all weekend. Everyone is welcome!
We have a fantastic lineup of workshop leaders this year including:
- Joshua Silverstein - Enjoy the journey with this multiracial comedic Los Angeles actor in his interactive workshop exploring race and identity.
- Rabbi Mychal Copeland - Learn about LGBTQI inclusion from 13 religious perspectives with the author of Struggling in Good Faith and Director of Bay Area InterfaithFamily.
- Helen Kim and Noah Leavitt - Discuss cutting-edge research about interfaith and interracial Jewish Asian families with celebrated Whitman College professors and authors of the new book JewAsian.
- Sandra Lawson - Explore identity with this RRC Rabbinic student, who has made a conscious decision to unite her black, Jewish and queer identities as a bridge builder.
- Isaama Stoll - Talk Torah with this Hebrew Union College rabbinic student, who is gifted at making Torah uniquely relevant and accessible.
There’s something for everyone: discussion and workshops for adults, camp activities for children and leadership training for teens. Choose from a variety of workshops, cultural arts and outdoor activities including gaga, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and more.
