Yom Hazikaron with Mordechai Kedar: Bringing Shalom to Our Home
Join us as we commemorate Yom Hazikaron. The event will include opening remarks by Deputy Counsel, Ravit Baer. The Yom Hazikaron Ceremony will be presented by Tal Goodman, from the Israeli American Council (IAC). Following the ceremony we will have a moderated discussion with Dr. Mordechai Kedar.
Dr. Kedar is an Israeli scholar of Arabic culture and a lecturer at Bar-Ilan University. He is fluent in Hebrew, Arabic and English. Kedar is an academic expert on the Israeli Arab population. He served for 25 years in IDF Military Intelligence, where he specialized in Islamic groups, the political discourse of Arab countries, the Arabic press and mass media, and the Syrian domestic arena. He is a highly sought after speaker.
