Apply now for the Teen Foundation Board!
Are you a 9th, 10th or 11th grader who...
- enjoys making a difference?
- likes to manage money?
- wants a great COLLEGE resume builder?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then The Jewish Community Teen Foundation is the schmeer on your bagel! It offers select groups of Bay Area Jewish teens the opportunity to explore Jewish values and ideas, develop leadership skills, and the chance to practice informed and directed philanthropy. Teens who serve on one of the five Jewish Community Teen Foundations learn how to run their own non-profit foundations and to become strategic grantmakers. And best of all, the applications just opened August 1!
Last year, The Teen Foundation raised a total of $204,000 and they were all over the news!
- Read about them in the j. and the San Francisco Chronicle
- Listen to alumni Robert Greenberg talks about his experience on KSRO!
