Creating Pathways to Jewish Leadership in the LGBTQ Community

The Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund is excited to announce Pathways to Jewish Leadership, a new program geared toward developing strong LGBTQ leaders for the Jewish community.

This program includes skill-building workshops as well as an overview of Jewish San Francisco, introductions to experienced Jewish professionals and philanthropists, and individualized mentorship from established leaders. Participants (ages 25-40) will emerge equipped to become leaders in their own right, helping to plan and steer our collective Jewish future.

This 10-month experience will provide the resources you need to become an out LGBTQ leader in our Jewish community, and the opportunity to shape our Jewish future for years to come.

The Pathways to Jewish Leadership Program will include:

  • Identity & History: How Do We See Ourselves as LGBTQ Jews? How Does Jewish & LGBTQ History Intersect? What Issues Do We Face?
  • Personal Leadership Style (Characteristics that Define Us)
  • Leading Organizations Through Change (Lifecycles of Development, Growth, and Decline)
  • Start Ups in the Jewish Community: What Does It Take and How Do You Do It?
  • An Evening with Our Veteran Leaders: Passing the Mantle to the Next Generation
  • Conflict Management/Negotiation/Resolution & Cross-Cultural Communication: Building   Consensus, Learning How to Listen and to Address Diverse Audiences
  • And Much More
