Pride Family Festival
Celebrate Pride with crafts, stories, dancing, social action and a family-friendly drag show!
Come one and all to our Pride Family Festival! Have your dancing feet ready and rainbow colors on full display for a day filled with celebration and love. Support the LGBTQ+ community, friends and allies by joining us for fun activities, crafts and movement. Discover LGBTQ+ stories with Out & About Bookshop, design a custom flag to represent your unique individuality, learn about changemakers, find ways to make change and connect with local organizations.
The event closes with Rainbow Connection: A Family-Friendly Drag Show followed by a short, spirited indoor parade in our atrium.
Take Action: Bring non-perishable food items and foods with a long shelf life to donate to the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center’s Food Pantry. Look for the bin located in the lobby at the JCCSF through June.
A note about Father’s Day: We know this gender-based parenting holiday can present a range of emotions. However you choose to celebrate, or not, we see you. We’ll be offering card-making to celebrate all the special caretakers in our lives.
