Fair Trade Judaica
Scope & Deliverables
Fair Trade Judaica (FTJ) seeks a consultant to advise its Executive Director on planning and facilitating the organization’s first-ever retreat for its national Advisory Board. The purpose of the retreat is to “on-board” the new leadership, strengthen the Advsiory Board culture and set direction. FTJ is in the process of transitioning to a more professional Advisory Board.
- Assist staff and advisory board in clarifying purpose/goals/outcomes of our first board retreat
- Help us plan realistic agenda with realistic outcomes
- Assist us in putting together research tool to gather info and evaluate results of retreat
- If possible, facilitate the retreat
Project Results
- Stronger sense of board cohesion/integration of new members
- Clarify program's direction
- Strengthen board participation and commitment
- Establish a new "board culture"
Organization Description
Fair Trade Judaica, a young growing nonprofit, is building a fair trade movement within the Jewish community through the sale and distribution of Fair Trade Judaica products and community-wide education.
