Benefits and Services

Working in partnership, we can effect real change in the world.

Having access to knowledge, tools and services to help you make informed choices is key to maximizing your philanthropic impact. Our advisors have the latest information about areas of need locally and abroad, and stay abreast of notable developments in the world of philanthropy. With their knowledge, professional networks and skills, and on-the-ground relationships, our team creates a customized action plan that provides strategic guidance, relieves administrative burdens, and supports your needs now and as they change over time.

Consultations

If you want to explore your own philanthropic intentions or involve your family in your charitable giving, our advisors consult with you to find practical, powerful ways to include the next generation in making a difference. Whether it’s volunteering together as a family, traveling to view first-hand the impact of your dollars, or using your fund as a tool for family philanthropy, we can help you create a tradition of compassion that lasts generations.

Multi-generational Philanthropy

Our professional team has expertise in youth philanthropy and provides Next Gen consultancies tailored to the needs of individuals and families. Consultations are conducted with an eye to transferring values and helping the next generation develop its own philanthropic passion and skill.

Philanthropic Education

Philanthropy is undergoing rapid change. Stay up-to-date by taking advantage of educational opportunities and year-round Federation events and programs. We offer donor education in groups or for individuals on multiple topics, such as creating your mission statement and understanding issues facing our Jewish community.

Legacy Giving

By naming the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund in your will or living trust, or signing a Letter of Intent to do so, you'll become a Living Legacy Society member, and, upon your agreement, will be included in the Book of Life. The Book of Life contains personal accounts of why members have chosen to remember the Jewish community. Centennial Donors of $250,000 and over are recognized (with permission) on a Wall of Honor in the Federation building and regional offices.
